Seekers of God's desire, welcome! After being present in the web since August 2009, we thank the Lord for bringing in readers from at least thirty countries to have visited our site. May every article either edify or perfect the readers that they may grow in life; every item in the propagation cause you to realize how the Lord led us in the establishment of the 638 churches; the requests for prayers encourage you to pray for the churchizing of the remaining 268 localities without golden lampstands yet in Regions 1-6 of the Philippines; the poems bring you to the enjoyment of the truth being incorporated in the poetic style; Salt and Gall as disinfectant to the work of the flesh thus encouraging us to stand as Antipas; and the inspiring testimonies of the Liu couple who in 30 years gave their all for God's economy here in the Philippines, and many others which the website staff brings to the Lord Jesus, the real Boss, in prayers for proper guidance.
To the pure, all things are pure (Titus 1:15). And those who seek shall find (cf.Matt.7:7) The four-fold goal of the website is always kept in every writing. We therefore are inviting the readers for a 2-night 3-day experience of the Gospel Balsa. Under the article: A Nazarene Invitation to the August Seekers, we have also sounded the invitation. However those who need no hospitality may come any Saturday 6am-8am as long as the weather permits. Inform us via email so that we can include you in our simple breakfast. God bless us for His building, Amen.
AN
INTRODUCTION TO GOD’S DESIRE
In
this 21st century, the Lord caused all things, even the internet
to work together for good to those who love God, to those who
are called according to His purpose (cf. Rom. 8:28).
We
pick up the burden to embark the task of coordinating with God
whom we love, to serve Him in the spirit, to dispense Him to
all His lovers who seek Him via the internet.
Our
site is seekers of God’s desire. As lovers of God, we
are also seekers of God’s desire. This
site has a four-fold goal: to bring unbelievers to the Lord
Jesus and make them sons of God; to lead the sons
of God to come home to the church according to the Holy Scriptures
in her practicality, the local church; to produce these saints
as overcomers thus reaching the fourth aspect of the goal which
is to hasten the Lord’s return.
In
the Holy Scripture, we can read from 1
Timothy 2:3b-4, “Our Savior God who desires all men
to be saved and to come to the full knowledge of the truth.”
Such
a saving God desires all men, not a few, not just selected
men but all men, to be saved and to come to the full knowledge
of the truth. For the fulfillment of saving all men, we need
to preach the gospel to all men regardless of their position,
situation, race, status, the gospel must be preached to them
in season and out of season (2 Tim. 4:2) that they may have
the eternal life, that they may be saved from Satan’s kingdom to God’s
kingdom. Whereas regarding the fulfillment of God’s desire
for them to come to the full knowledge of the truth, we need
to bring the saved ones in the first place to the church, the
pillar and the base of the truth (1 Tim. 3:15). Complete salvation
of man requires the salvation of his tripartite being. He needs
to be saved in his spirit, his soul, and in his body (cf. 1Thes.
5:23)
Salvation
of Man's Spirit
Praise
the Lord, the salvation of man’s spirit is simple. The
entrance of God into his spirit will already be sufficient
to save his spirit! However, two
major obstacles must be dealt with before God could enter into
man’s
spirit because God is holy and man is sinful, God is great
and man is minute. How can this holy God enter into a sinful
man like us? How can this great God enter into a minute man
like you?
For
God to deal with these two problems: our sin, and our minuteness,
He underwent a process. About 2009 years ago this God incarnated
to become a man. He was born in a manger. He lived on the earth
for 33 ½ years expressing all the divine attributes through
His human virtues, and He was crucified. Such process caused
His blood to be shed. Hebrews 9:22 says that without the shedding
of blood there’s no forgiveness. Praise the Lord! His blood
was shed, our sins are forgiven! The problem of sin was solved
through His efficacious precious blood. He died but He resurrected!
He arose from His death and in 1 Corinthians 15:45, He as the
last Adam became the life giving Spirit. The word Spirit in the
originally Greek word is PNEUMA and PNEUMA means air. After undergoing
death and resurrection He became the life giving air! And in
Romans 10:13 we are told that whosoever shall call on the name
of the Lord shall be saved. Seekers of God’s desire, you
may now call “Oh Lord Jesus!”
Call at least three times and tell Him “Lord Jesus I love
You!” Seekers of God’s desire, after such calling,
we guarantee you that you will be happier and released in your
inner feeling. (You may e-mail us
your experience of calling.)
We
also congratulate you for having The Triune God received into
your being and an assurance of the fulfillment of John 3:16 in
you.
Salvation of the Body
Having
done so, we are now assured by God’s Word. The Lord promised
in Luke 21:33 that heaven and earth shall pass away, but His
words shall by no means pass away. We are assured and certain
that upon the Lord’s return, He will save our physical
body by changing our corruptible body into an incorruptible one
and our moral body must put on immortality (1 Cor. 15:52-53).
Therefore seekers of God’s desire, do take care of your
body. Eat properly, exercise and rest properly so that while
awaiting our dear Lord’s appearance, we can still serve
Him with a healthy body.
Salvation
of the Soul
Seekers
of God’s desire, the complete salvation which God desires
for man entails the salvation of one’s spirit and soul
and body. We have just briefly shared about the salvation of
the spirit and the salvation of the body. The salvation of the
soul in its very first steps requires the burial of our old man
in the water of baptism so that when we rise up from the water
we shall walk in the newness of life (Rom. 6:3-4). Such a baptism
should bring one into the name of the Lord Jesus (Acts 10:48)
which is the very name of the Triune God (Matt. 28:19) that we
may have the enjoyment of the organic union with God who is the
Father, the Son and the Spirit. Our calling on His name makes
way for Him to enter into us, our baptism into Christ makes way
for us to enter into Him as baptism into Christ is putting on
Christ. Just as the clothe we don makes us to be inside the clothe,
hence putting on Christ by baptism into Him makes us to enter
into Him (cf. Gal. 3:27). Wonderful reality! The water of baptism
will also give you a complete transfer from Satan’s kingdom
to God’s kingdom. The Lord Jesus personally says this, “truly,
truly, I say to you that unless a man is born of the water and
spirit, he cannot enter into the kingdom of God.” (John
3:5). Last but not least, your baptism brings you into the Body
(1 Cor. 12:13) and this Body is the church (Eph 1:22-23). Every
Christian group claims that their group is the legitimate biblical
church. Now we have to present the truth in at least two aspects.
For instance, Christ as the Head of the Body is man. 1 Timothy
2:5 says “…the man Christ Jesus” however this
very Head of the Body is also God. Romans 9:5 says “…The
Christ, who is over all, God blessed forever. Amen.” Now
this Body which is the church must also be presented in two aspects,
i.e. The universal aspect, this aspect is not limited by time
nor by space, the aspect which the Lord Jesus Himself speaks
of in Matthew 16:18 “…Upon this rock I will build
my church “. Since this is not limited by time nor space,
even those who were already taken by the Lord are included yet
they are those whom we cannot presently fellowship with anymore.
However our God is a practical One. He presented to us the practical
aspect of the church. The church to whom one can tell to: stated
in Matthew 18:….tell it to the church.” This church
to whom you can tell to also has two aspects: plural and singular.
In the Holy Scriptures you can come across the churches of
Galatia, (Gal 1:2), churches of Asia (1 Cor. 16:19) etc. and
also church in Ephesus (Rev. 2:1), church in Jerusalem (Acts
11:22) etc. Checking from the map, one would recognize that
whether it be Ephesus or Jerusalem, it is a locality whereas
Galatia and Judea are both provinces hence a locality can simply
have one local church whereas a province can have more than
one church, however, the maximum number could only be the number
of localities in that province. For instance, here in the Philippines,
we have fourteen (14) localities in the province of Rizal,
Today we have churchized the whole province of Rizal. Therefore
we have the maximum number of fourteen churches.
Hence,
seekers of God’s desire, your baptism brings you practically
to the church in the locality where you live. Do you live in
Malabon? Then you simply are part of the church in Malabon.
The church in Malabon meets in many places in the City of Malabon.
Her main meeting hall is located at 19 Liwayway St., Acacia,
Malabon City. Is your residence at Tokyo? Then you are to meet
with the church in Tokyo. Do you live in Los Angeles, California?
Then you meet with the church in Los Angeles.
In
the Bible, individually we can be called Christians, corporately,
we are just the church (cf. Act 11:26), and specifically we are
just the church in the locality where we live.
Seekers
of God’s desire, if you have just recently learned the
above truth of the one locality one church you may e-mail us
your experience especially if you have already attended the church
meeting in your own locality.
The
soul needs to be saved too. Salvation of the soul will enable
us to enter into kingship in the millennium (Rev. 20:4,6) and
this requires many steps, the first of which is to have your
old man buried in the water of baptism (Romans 6:3-4). Seekers
of God's desire, if you are not baptized yet and do wish to get
baptized, you may also email us your desire and we will find
way to assist you.
Grace
be with you.
